FARER is the go-to watch brand for folk who love simple, elegant lines
As a new brand (it was founded in 2015) it is making its mark with the big boys in terms of design, and names it's timepieces after iconic British explorers- picking the most inspiring individuals who are daring, courageous and filled with wanderlust.
The team behind the brand come from a range of backgrounds- horology, fashion and product design, which is what makes collections unique. All share a common passion for the halcyon era of watchmaking, and the vintage inspired pieces are comparable to the craftsmanship of the mid-century.
The latest addition to the family is the Meakin, named after intrepid British author Annette Meakin, who, amongst other accomplishments, was the first woman to travel to Japan on board the Trans-Siberian railway in 1900, which I can imagine is no mean feat!
With luxurious leather straps, a white dial and gold skeleton hands, this watch is a show stopper, and fits in perfectly with the rest of the Farer clan.
If you like adventure, or just need some new arm candy, this “British design x Swiss Made" watch is guarantee that you are going to get a sturdy timepiece, and one which is made to last.
