● Line-up includes Sister Bliss, A Guy Called Gerald and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, amongst others ● Bespoke festival app, powered by cutting edge tech startup Second Screen London, April 2017: Kelvedon Bash, a brand new Essex-based music, arts and culture festival will debut this summer taking place during the weekend of 30th June, 1st and 2nd July within the surroundings of Kelvedon Hall, Brentwood. More than just a festival, Kelvedon Bash is a multi layered event experience, offering an intimate feel within a Grade I-listed building and impeccable surroundings. World renowned DJ and record producer, Sister Bliss of Faithless will take to the main stage, sponsored by Gigwise on Saturday. Other iconic names include dance music legend A Guy Called Gerald and Massive Attack’s Daddy G. They will be joined by Norman Jay MBE, Brandon Block, RIVRS, Melon Bomb, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, DJ Mary Charteris, The Egg and Radio 1’s David Rodigan, with many more to be announced including a secret special guest performance. For art lovers, the legendary pioneers of the ‘Young British Artists Movement’ the Chapman Brothers, will host drawing masterclasses. Paul Saunders, owner of ‘Westbank Art Gallery’ and ‘Urban in Ibiza’ will curate some of the UK’s leading street artists, adding their stamp of creativity through graffiti walls, live art and interactive workshops. Within close proximity to London, Kelvedon Bash is situated within the lush grounds of Kelvedon Hall. Built in 1715, this grand Georgian country house will play host for the weekend and offer an intimate ‘house party’ feel in this exclusive location.
Throughout the weekend, extra activities will be on offer including: children’s DJ workshops, paint runs, bike rides and masterclasses in film, music and drama. For food and drink lovers, original street food stalls and celebrity pop-up bars will also be on offer. Last but not least, a model search for the ‘The New Young Face of Essex’ will be judged by a huge celebrity model. Kelvedon Bash will be supported with a bespoke festival app, powered by Second Screen - an innovative app developer. The app will bring festival goers closer to the event through shareable content and provide a platform to enhance the overall experience. This is a fun way to mend with other's culture. We'll be able to learn more from the other country's art and music. I want to discover more about the people around the world. I hope that many people will attend in this event. I'll be sure to bring my friends along for this festival.
