Founded by Jeff Banks, Graduate Fashion Week is the show of the summer. For three days, the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch. This year, the fashion colleges of the UK are showcasing their final collections on 4th – 7th June 2017.
The charity event is now in its 26th year and is the only place where 36 universities work together on 22 catwalk shows. The UK is a great believer in supporting emerging talent, and boasts 13 Global Ambassadors and four Lifetime Patrons including: Christopher Bailey, Victoria Beckham, Vivienne Westwood and Nick Knight, who are offer inspiration across all aspects of the fashion industry.
With principle sponsor M&S, set to offer the Womenswear Award; Sainsburys is offering a coveted prize of joining the design team of their fashion label TU. The two winners of this scholarship initiative are set to be presented by Henry Holland and Oliver Spencer, along with high street shoes guru Clarks, who are sponsoring the Clarks shoe design award.
It looks set to be a very inspiring week indeed!
