Anna Laurini new show represents a big step in the right direction, with a bold coherent body of work titled FACES. Laurini's style has become refined and highly desirable in the art world. With her street art works instantly recognisable around London, Paris, Milan and New York, it seems like most city slickers have been FACED with one of Laurini's visions at some point over the past 3 years. Now with several solo shows under her 'art belt', accumulating a large following and over the time developing her visual identity, it seems Laurini's constant creative process is really coming together. 55pages issue 6 interviewed Laurini, after our art editor had following her developing career the previous years. We were not surprised how her success has gained recognition, but when we went to the opening of this new show FACES, we were blow away by the steps Laurini had made into serious gallery exhibitions. Taking the move from street works to exhibitions is a natural journey, but to bring together a serious gallery show can be tricky. Anna Laurini has made this step !
