-Stik commissioned to make Banner for ‘Pride in London 2016 Parade’
Stik will be representing Hackney at the annual Pride in London Parade with a 2 metre, bespoke banner for the event. The hand-made banner was commissioned by Hackney Council and is being made in collaboration with Flagmakers Ltd., the oldest flag makers in Britain. The banner will be mounted on top of a black Hackney Carriage Taxi then put on display at Hackney Museum until it is auctioned off to raise funds for a local LGBT organisation.
108,000 Hackney Council residents will receive a free D.I.Y Stik Placard in copies of Hackney Today Newspaper and are invited to march alongside Stik at the Pride in London Parade on Sat 25th June in Central London.
