NEWBURGH STREET IS STARTING TO LOOK A BIT SCARY! by Sara Darling It's time to dig out your witch's hat, broomstick or purchase a pumpkin, as Halloween is just around the corner; Even if you're not a dab hand at the face paint, you might want to get involved with some American traditions such as learning the secrets to the perfect cocktail potion! If you are a lover of this pagan tradition (or just like an excuse to dress up), head to the 'Quarter of Curiosity Shop' at 2 Newburgh Street until 31 October for all things spook-tacular. Enter through alternative florist offering black roses, black Asparagus Fern, deep purple Calla Lillie’s and Love Lies Bleeding, which might inspire your inner goth, and all proceeds from the florist will go to charity partner, Trekstock. With other festive favourites on sale, there are lots more creepy activities to get you in the mood; Including a variety of free workshops where you can learn how to 'Pimp your Pumpkin' or refine your 'Day of the Dead Headdress'. Whether you're a lover or hater, the street party on Thursday 26 October is not to be missed. Taking place between 5-9pm, there will be in-store promotions, gore-some cocktails, spooky DJs and tricky treats. Be afraid! Book your workshop here And keep up to date with all news here: @CarnabyLondon #NewburghQuarter
