Global Justice launches a new youth activist network. Today’s young people are facing some of the harshest problems created by our system – debt, insecure employment and rising levels of anxiety. But they’re also at the centre of movements for change in the UK and worldwide. The network is run by and for those under the age of 28. It will provide an opportunity for young people to explore what’s wrong with the world and why, and come together to take action to change things. If you want to get involved in the network, sign up for email updates now Developments in the network are already underway. New local campaigning groups are starting to emerge at universities and in cities. Global Justice also have their first events coming up in the next two weeks. Join the Global Justice Now youth network and some great grassroots campaigners for a day of discussion, debate and training on how to campaign. Global Justice will be exploring the big questions we face – why is the world so unequal? How can we challenge racism and the power of the 1%? What can we learn from movements that have stood up for social justice?
