THE PERFECT TIME TO GET FIT IS NOW

There’s a lot of talk about women losing their muffin tops, but guys need a bit of help in retaining the six pack too! Googling “how to lose weight” churns out the most overwhelming advice known to man. Try working your way through the 8 billion links and you will definitely need a beer!
But if you’re a man who likes a challenge, get stuck into these easy to follow mini workouts and your spare tire will be gone in no time!

Do as much as you can, as often as you can, and if you have a favourite do that a bit more! Remember to stretch before and after, and the harder you push yourself, the more you will sweat and those calories will burn!

Aim for 10 seconds of each with a 10 second break, and build up to four sets (or more). Your body can thank me later.

Burpees
Start with the hardest, and boy, this one is tough!
From a standing position squat down until your thighs are parallel to the floor and place your palms on the floor. From there- kick your feet back as far as you can while keeping your arms extended. As soon as your feet land jump them back in towards your hands, then jump up into the air. Land and immediately squat down to go into the next rep.

Squats
For thighs of steel.
Squat down, keeping your back straight, until your thighs are parallel with the floor and your bum is about level with your knees. Explode upwards into a jump, and go straight into the next squat, or squat and pulse trying to inch your bum closer to the floor.

Mountain Climber
One for the six pack- it won’t be an immediate revelation!
Start as though in a sprinter's blocks, with one foot positioned beneath your waist and one back, with your leg straight. Explosively swap foot positions. Repeat and breathe.
Push-ups with clap
Press-ups for the show-off!
Get in a press-up position, with your hands shoulder-width apart and back straight. Lower until your chest almost touches the floor then push up explosively, clapping your hands together before going straight into the next press-up. Try singing at the same time- to get the rhythm going. It’s fun!!!
And if you can still focus after all that hard work, you might want to think about what you eat.. But I don’t think I’ll push it today, eh?
