FAVOTELL is an exciting development in the world of fashion
Offering a fusion of fashion and art, it aims to provide international designers and artists recognition they deserve around the world.
Meaning ‘I want to tell you my favourite’, the brand has carefully curated favourites from the future super stars of Shanghai, London and beyond, which has been set up by Kong JiaLin.
Coming from China to London to study at Central St Martins, Kong's fine art background and love of fashion saw a gap for fash-art collaborations..
"I realised that Chinese designers are not well promoted as international designers in both China and Europe, which explain why Chinese consumers rarely buy into domestic designers. I want to change this situation."
Fusing art and fashion is not a new concept, but by providing a hub for international designers to network, FAVOTELL's selected designers are provided a link to like minded international designers that they might otherwise never meet, and therefore make a match made in heaven via a curated introduction.
" We set out to make matches we feel are destined to happen; though without our mediation simply and sadly would not."
The final designs are pitched between high street fashion and luxury, with a nod to the contemporary and offer something uniquely Eastern with a Western twist.
With plans to launch a boutique store in central London and Shanghai in the near future, it is definitely something to keep on your radar if you are a fan of emerging talent, and want to get in there before everyone else!
