It has been said,
“Unfortunately she has become a walking zombie in politics. Her career is in tatters.”
After the failed coup and Eagle’s plotting these past months, she has lost the trust not only of Red Labour but voters too, with her weak leadership and indecision over whether to challenge Corbyn. She has become unelectable.
One Labour MP said, "It's finished," as it emerged that those lengthy talks between union bosses and Tom Watson, the party's deputy leader, had failed.
MPs have little faith in Angela Eagle but it seems their egos have grown so much that they can’t back down. MPs are predicting their own downfall, and preparing themselves for political death.

It had become painfully obvious that the coup was a badly organized and paranoid operation for power, with no consideration for the Labour members or a real operation in Parliament.
